چکیده
This research work focuses on the experimental investigation of indentation damage resistance and post-indented performance different stacking sequence glass/epoxy laminates using mechanical acoustic responses. The with sequence, namely [0]12, [0/90]6S, [+45/-45]6S [0/+45/-45/90]3S were subjected to normal inclined emission monitoring. Quasi-static (QSI) test was conducted center a hemispherical steel indenter 12.7 mm diameter. residual strength computed by conducting flexural after test. Mechanical responses such as peak force, dent, linear stiffness absorbed energy employed assess induced damages. results reveal that quasi-isotropic (QIS) having better under 0o 10o loading planes, whereas angle-ply (AP) performed well at 20o. Moreover, normalised cumulative counts, rate, frequency, AE hits sentry function used evaluate initiation propagation. Further, show shear has been reduced in AP compared QIS 20o plane. Finally, this study concluded exhibited 10o, planes respectively.
